The Alabama Home Builder contractor license allows for residential construction from the ground up, as well as remodeling existing residential properties. Residential properties with this license are limited to a maximum of 3 stories and no more than 4 residential units.
There are two required exams: the Alabama Home Builder trades exam and the Alabama Residential Business & Law exam.
There are two combos: Regular and Pre-Highlighted. The only difference is that the Pre-Highlighted combo comes with books that are already highlighted and tabbed for you. If you get the regular combo, you still get all of the books and tabs, but you will highlight yourself. The course includes highlighting guides for each book.
