    State Requirements & Application

    *Any prime contractor or sub contractor working on projects where the cost of labor and materials is more than $2,500 is required to have the appropriate license.

    * Only the General Contractor license has a minimum net worth requirement. The minimum net worth for a GC unlimited is $150,000 and a GC Limited Tier must have a minimum net worth of $25,000.

    * The General Contractor must have at least $500,000 worth of general liability insurance.
