Is this Your Exam?
T18
The T18 runs on the 2020 NEC and is the Residential-level ICC electrical exam. Check the jurisdiction guide to confirm whether your city or county requires it, and which exam code they use locally.
Why Residential-Level Is Different
Residential exams sometimes get treated as "easier" — but failing one still delays your license just the same. The T18 tests the full residential scope of the 2020 NEC, your prep should match it exactly.
MCL's T18 prep targets that scope: the right content, the right depth, without commercial or industrial material you won't see on test day.
