NASCLA Commercial Exam Reciprocity

The NASCLA Exam can be used as the alternative exam for both B-1 and B-2 trades exams in Arizona.

The NASCLA exam serves as the trades exam in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, U.S. Virgin Islands, and West Virginia.

Arizona NASCLA Commercial Exam Permitted Work

The Arizona General Commercial Contractor license classification covers commercial construction activities. Residential work requires additional licensing.

Allowed work includes construction, alteration, and repair of structures for various uses. This scope includes direct or indirect supervision and management. *Note: Arizona applicants for B-1 or B-2 General Commercial licenses may choose either the NASCLA exam or the AZ ROC General Commercial exam as their trade exam.
