*If you have high-rise construction experience, passing this Nevada contractor’s exam makes you eligible for the B license. Others will be eligible for the B-2 license.

*You must also pass the Nevada Business Law exam, which must be taken in Nevada.

Nevada General Contractor (NASCLA) Reciprocity

Nevada has reciprocity with Arizona, California, and Utah after five years of holding the license in the other state. The NASCLA exam is accepted in multiple states including Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and others.

Nevada General Contractor (NASCLA) Permitted Work

This license covers the construction and remodeling of structures for shelter or support. Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fire protection work require appropriate specialty licenses.
