Nevada applicants must sit for two exams: Contractor Management Survey and the Trades Exam.
Financial statements must be submitted with your application to the state licensing board to determine monetary limits based on NRS 624.260, 263, and 265. For financial limits less than $1,000,000, statements can be self-prepared or CPA-prepared with an affidavit. For limits over $1,000,000, statements must be CPA-reviewed and audited.
Experience Requirement: Four years of experience within the last 10 years in a relevant field. Additionally, a Nevada contractor license bond and worker's compensation insurance are mandatory.

Nevada General Contractor (B) Permitted Work
This license allows for the construction or remodeling of structures requiring more than two unrelated building trades or crafts. Separate specialty licenses are needed for plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, air-conditioning, or fire protection work.
