SECTION 1 – ORDER ACCEPTANCE POLICY (1-16-2025)
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order. Exam Pros Inc., DBA My Contractors License, reserves the right, at any time after receipt of your order, to accept, decline, cancel, or refund your order for any reason. We require validation of the shipping address if it differs from the billing address. If we are unable to validate the shipping address, the order will be canceled.
SECTION 2 – CREDIT CARDS, PAYPAL, AFFIRM (1-16-2025)
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please ensure you provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e., the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file). Incorrect information may cause delays in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed upon completion of your order.
In addition to credit cards, we accept payments via PayPal or Affirm through the website.
SECTION 3 – ORDER SHIPPING POLICY (1-16-2025)
Most orders received before 3:00 PM EST on a business day will ship the same day, provided the product is in stock. Orders received after 3:00 PM EST will ship the next business day. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturdays or Sundays.
We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Any shipping or transit times provided by Exam Pros Inc., DBA My Contractors License, or other parties are estimates. We encourage you to place orders in a timely manner to avoid delays due to shipping or product availability.
Next Day Air and 2nd Day Air shipping methods offer 1- and 2-business day delivery options, respectively, but do not include Saturdays or Sundays. For example, if you place an order by 3:00 PM EST on a Friday with Next Day Air, we will ship the package on Friday, but it will not be delivered until Monday (1 business day).
A tracking number will be emailed to you once your shipping label is created.
If an order is missing items or if items arrive damaged, you have 7 days from the receipt of the package to notify Exam Pros Inc., DBA My Contractors License. Once notified, we will send a replacement at no additional cost. After 7 days, Exam Pros Inc., DBA My Contractors License, is not responsible for missing or damaged items, and the products must be repurchased.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PACKAGE ONCE IT LEAVES WITH THE CARRIER.
Pre-highlighted and tabbed products are made-to-order and may require 5 to 10 additional business days before shipping.
SECTION 4 – OUT OF STOCK PRODUCTS (1-16-2025)
We will ship your product as it becomes available. Usually, products ship the same day if ordered by 3:00 PM EST or by the next business day if your order is received after this time or placed on Saturday, Sunday, or a major holiday. However, there may be times when the product you ordered is out of stock, which will delay fulfilling your order.
We will keep you informed of any products that are out of stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipping. If you do not wish to wait for a purchased item to come back into stock, contact us via phone or email, and we will refund the price of the out-of-stock item.
SECTION 5 – SUCCESS GUARANTEE (1-16-2025)
Our policy is simple: if you have done your part (as listed below) but did not pass the official exam, you may qualify to receive a 110% refund for the price of the online prep course.
There are no refunds on shipping/handling, used books, or any other products or services. This guarantee applies only to the price of the course and not to books, tabs, or any other products or services. Fees paid for highlighting are excluded from this guarantee policy.
Terms and Conditions for the SUCCESS Guarantee
- To request a refund, contact us within 5 days of failing your official exam and provide a copy of your failure notice issued by the testing company.
- You must have scored at least 95% on three practice exams (this is important!).
- You must have taken these practice exams within 30 days prior to the dates of your official trade or business and law exams.
- Test times must be at least 75% of the allowable test time (for example, if a test has 100 minutes allowed, then your test time must be at least 75 minutes).
- If you passed the business/law exam but not the Trades exam, you may receive a 75% refund for the price of the prep course.
- If you passed the Trades exam but not the business/law exam, you may receive a 25% refund for the price of the prep course.
- If you did not pass either exam or if your license does not require both exams, you may receive a 110% refund for the price of the prep course. (This does not apply to the price of books or tabs.)
Cramming a few days before your exam is not considered adequate study time.
SECTION 6 – TAXES (1-16-2025)
Our store will automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders delivered to addresses within, but not limited to, the states of Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The list of states in which sales tax must be collected may change over time.
SECTION 7 – TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS (1-16-2025)
In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Exam Pros Inc., DBA My Contractors License, reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price. Exam Pros Inc., DBA My Contractors License, also reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.
If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Exam Pros Inc., DBA My Contractors License, will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
SECTION 8 – COURSE LICENSES (1-16-2025)
All course purchases include an access window of one year from the date of purchase. After one year, course access will expire, and most of the course content will become inaccessible. Courses are kept as up-to-date as reasonably possible throughout the entire access window. Courses are intended for use by a single student and are non-transferable.
License extensions are available for purchase at a daily rate, starting from the date of expiration. The extension fee is calculated from the expiration date, even if you are purchasing the extension after the course has expired. Courses that have been expired for less than six months are eligible for license extensions.
Pricing is as follows:
- $2.00 per day for NASCLA
- $1.00 per day for state trades
- $0.50 per day for state business law
Exam Pros Inc., DBA My Contractors License, reserves the right to discontinue the option to purchase license extensions at any time.
SECTION 9 – RETURN POLICY AND RESTOCKING FEES (1-16-2025)
All products are subject to a restocking fee of 10% of the pre-tax purchase price. Exam Pros Inc., DBA My Contractors License, accepts returns on books and/or book tabs within 30 days of the delivery date, provided they are in 100% new condition, with no markings or damage, as determined by our warehouse personnel upon receipt. Online training is refundable within 30 days of purchase if the user's session time is less than 5 hours for standard courses or less than 10 hours for NASCLA courses.
- All used book sales are final and ineligible for return.
- Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Please contact us via phone or email before sending any materials to verify the return procedure. You are responsible for shipping costs on any returns unless the return is due to an error on our part (Exam Pros Inc., DBA My Contractors License).
Before mailing any physical products or materials back to our warehouse, you must contact us via phone or email to obtain an RMA number.
The average processing time for returns, once received, is 1 to 3 business days. The time it takes your bank to process the refund typically averages 3 to 5 business days.
We will cover return shipping costs if the return is due to our error (e.g., you received an incorrect or defective item).

Unless otherwise specified, all materials appearing on this site—including text, site design, logos, graphics, icons, and images, as well as the selection, assembly, and arrangement thereof—are the sole property of Exam Pros Inc., DBA My Contractors License. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
You may use the content of this site only for the purpose of shopping or placing an order and for no other purpose. No materials from this site may be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any form or by any means without our prior written permission. Any unauthorized use of the materials appearing on this site may violate copyright, trademark, or other applicable laws and could result in criminal or civil penalties.
SECTION 11 – OTHER CONDITIONS (1-16-2025)
These conditions supersede any terms and/or conditions you include with any purchase order, regardless of whether Exam Pros Inc., DBA My Contractors License, signs them or not.
We reserve the right to make changes to this site and these conditions at any time.

You grant Exam Pros Inc., DBA My Contractors License, a worldwide, royalty-free, nonexclusive license to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, publish, and translate this personal information solely as necessary to fulfill your request(s) or to enable your use of a particular product or service, such as for shipping products.
